DESIGN AND FURNISHING OF DRESSING ROOM | Cubelles | 2019

PROJECT DESCRIPCION
Located in the town of Cubelles, this 166m² chalet required a distribution and renovation project to meet the needs of the family. With the utmost interest, an assessment was carried out jointly with the owners, in order to transform each space into comfortable rooms suitable for their lifestyle.
In the original project, the space dedicated to the dressing room was quite limited and its preferred use was as a complement to the en-suite bathroom; designed for storing clothes for daily use such as sportswear and underwear, as well as bedding.
The room next to the en-suite bedroom became the main dressing room. Composed of 5 units equipped with accessories to optimise the space, such as the hydraulic bar, the removable shoe cabinets or the interior lighting that complements the insufficient original lighting.
The central island of the dressing room is the star of the space and configures the circulation. At the same time, it provides an exhibition surface under a smoked glass urn that combines with the natural walnut wood. The set rests on a rug that will help to highlight the presence of the dressing room’s central island.
The combination of finishes was thought of to bring personality to the rooms, contrasting the warmth of natural wood with the environment of neutral tones. Walnut wood, in addition to providing elegance, also brings character that, in combination with the linen-coloured lacquered doors, achieves a harmony of colour.
